~ Sand Table ~
This coffee table aims to recreate the pattern that water moving over sand leaves, as the tide comes in and out. The idea for it came on a day out in a small boat along Mull's coast. Looking over the side of the boat gave me the inspriation.
It is made in local sycamore and oak, from trees which grew beside the coast. The glass represents the surface of the water, the oak legs resemble pier pilings.
