~ Cedar Linen Chest ~
I got some beautiful boards of Cedar of Lebanon from a boat builder who works on the Ardnamurchan peninsula.
Cedar is a soft wood with a wonderful peppery smell which has had a long tradition of use in repelling moths and storing linen.
The chest is hand dovetailed and the lid has a natural, sculpted edge to it. When the lid is opened, the air from inside the box releases a fantastic aroma.
